Mairi passed away peacefully and surrounded by the love of her family at Strathcarron Hospice on Tuesday 5th March aged 45 years. 

A doting mum to Finlay and a much-loved daughter, sister, sister-in-law, auntie, niece and friend to many. 

If Mairi was one thing, it was love. She had it for everybody and she gave it so naturally and freely. Her generosity with her time, her energy, her advice, and in so many other ways provided invaluable support to a remarkable number of people.

To Mairi, nothing was more important than family. A wonderful mum, daughter, sister and auntie who was always there to offer support, strength and comfort even when times were tough. With her passing, she leaves a massive hole in the lives of so many and a huge emptiness in the hearts of all who love her.  She will be greatly missed by each person who has had the privilege of sharing her life and the memories she has left behind will be cherished forever. 

A service of celebration for the life of Mairi will take place on Thursday 21st March at 9:30 am in St Anthony’s RC Church Rumford followed by an interment at New Grandsable Cemetery. 

Family and friends are welcome to attend.
